At the reunion in Chicago this year, it was decided by the Executive Board to increase annual dues in the Association. This is the first increase that the Association has had since our inception in 1986. After discussing several numbers, it was decided to increase the dues to $17.00 per year beginning in 2009. This rate increase will not affect those shipmates who have paid in advance. All shipmates renewing their membership for any year other than 2008 will be charged the increased rate. This increase was necessary due to the increased costs of all services incurred in running the Association.
